A commemorative DVD of the Battle of Treeton was filmed throughout the weekend by the specialist professional video production company 'Captured Times', in partnership with Treeton Local History Group.

Gleanings and Recollections of Old Treeton

Edited by Hedley Frost, the Group's Archivist, this publication is a compilation of notes and stories by T.O. Rossington, who was born in treeton in April 189, serving in France in WWI before becoming the accountant for Treeton Colliery and later for twelve collieries in the area, after Nationalisation.

The historical notes in this pulbication span a period fromDomesday in 1086 through to the earley years of the 20th Century.
